For traffic fines totaling $150+ in Circuit Court (appealed or elevated cases).

Court acceptance of electronic signatures isn't guaranteed for this form. Maryland law generally accepts electronic signatures, but the Traffic Processing Center's practice for DR-049O specifically isn't publicly confirmed. If the court rejects an electronically signed submission, you'll need to resubmit with a wet-ink signature.
Mailing is first-class postage, no tracking. The court doesn't require certified mail. If you want a delivery confirmation, mail the form yourself with certified service.
